SCC have become an affiliate member of West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre
We’re thrilled to announce that SCC has become an affiliate member of the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre (WMCRC).
WMCRC are a not-for-profit organisation with one simple mission: equip businesses with the tools and knowledge to better protect themselves in the fight against cybercrime.
SCC will benefit from digital toolkits, specialised events, and tailored training to help support our business in the development of becoming a cyber leader, navigating the complex security challenges in today’s digital landscape.
SCC sees the value in investing in the cyber security space, and through expanding our team and improving our processes, we have been elevating our services to help companies understand their cyber security needs. Our expanding cyber security unit is driven by a team of dedicated experts which now includes over 50 analysts, architects, and security professionals.
Our team can manage, detect, and respond to all cyber threats for our customers using our Security Operations Centre (SOC) where real-time monitoring, analysis, and incident response take place.
“We joined the West Midlands CRC to better understand and support our local community. The WMCRC is there to support local interests, specifically aimed at smaller to medium sized organisations. Joining this group is a natural way to achieve regional outreach and support the CRC in delivering impartial guidance for cyber security best practice. Furthering our mission to create cyber confidence.”
Paul Allen, Practice Director of Cyber Security at SCC
“We are really excited to welcome SCC onboard. With their wealth of IT and cyber security knowledge, partnerships and contacts within the cyber resilience industry, we’re confident that they’ll make an excellent addition to our community.”
