SCC Services Romania wins Best Workplace and L&D Initiative of the Year

Another fantastic accolade for SCC as SCC Services Romania scoops not one, but two awards at the Romanian Business Services Forum and Awards 2020. Now in its sixth year, the occasion took place on July 15th and featured a CEO leaders debate and gala ceremony at the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest. The Awards Gala continues to recognise, reward and celebrate the success of the most prominent companies in Outsourcing – BPO and ITO in Romania. The award for ‘Best Workplace’ recognises top quality design, functionality and excellence in the workplace and was awarded to SCC following two years of hard work and a 1.5-million-euro investment. The new SCC Services Romania HQ (IT support services for our global customers) at the IDEO Business Centre in Iasi was officially inaugurated on the 20th of February 2020, and features modern amenities, vibrant interior design and abundant natural light. The SCC Onboarding & Mentoring Project was recognised as a winner of the L&D Initiative of the Year, which identifies the best educational project implemented by a company. The initiative creates a knowledge transfer environment for newer or less experienced employees in order to advance their careers, by providing a standard process across the organisation and detailed mentoring plans for each grading position while offering the opportunity for feedback from all parties involved, and to create a strong mentors community. More than 500 employees took part in the project, which resulted in decreased personnel turnover and improved retention rates among new starters.
