SCC named “Heroes” and Corporate VAR of the Year at CRN Channel Awards 2020

It was a double whammy for SCC last night as it was bestowed two esteemed titles at the biggest awards event in the IT channel. In what has been a difficult year for people and businesses across the globe, recognition in the 2020 Awards feels especially triumphant, particularly as SCC scooped recognition for the whole business through winning “Heroes of the Year”. The award, one of the first to be announced on the evening, recognises individuals or teams that have gone out of their way to help others during this crisis, in a business capacity or working with partners to provide an essential service. SCC put forward the whole business, as every single individual deserved to be recognised for their contribution and hard work over the challenging period. The night didn’t end there and SCC was also named Corporate VAR of the Year, with judges commenting on our impressive commercial achievements and continued investment in our people. This is the first time SCC has won this award with CRN and is testament to everyone’s hard work this past year. The virtual event, hosted by Colin Murray, also featured an exclusive interview with Sir Peter Rigby, and the evening concluded with SCC being Highly Commended in the Reseller of the Year (+£101 turnover) category. National Sales Director, Adam Clark, who attended the virtual event, said, “At SCC we are constantly striving to keep growing, keep achieving, keep making a difference and of course, remain a key player in the IT channel.
