SCC acquires Licensing and Cloud Software Lifecycle business from Civica
SCC, Europe’s biggest privately-owned IT services firm, has acquired Civica’s Licensing and Cloud Software Lifecycle (LCSL) business to accelerate growth of its UK software services.
The acquisition includes Civica’s LCSL team and its existing customer and partner relationships, increasing SCC’s presence in the Cloud Software Lifecycle market and strengthening its successful software licensing and software asset management (SAM) businesses. Civica provides a suite of software applications for public sector services, with a 30-year history delivering sector specific software across Government and Justice, Local Government, Housing, Health and Care, and Education. Its LCSL customers include local councils, universities, and housing associations. SCC combines leading technologies from more than 600 unique vendors with its own business and integration expertise to support customers across the commercial and public sectors optimise cost and control of their software estates. Its team of technology and software specialists as more than 100 years’ cumulative experience.
