SCC breaks Guinness World Records™ title for the Largest Human Image of a Chequered Flag

On May 11th, SCC entered the history books by breaking the Guinness World Records™ title for the Largest Human Image of a Chequered Flag.

The extraordinary feat took place during SCC Engage, which this year was held at the iconic Silverstone Circuit.

A remarkable 488 colleagues from various departments participated in the world record attempt, showcasing their commitment to teamwork and their passion for motor racing in truly unforgettable style.

Silverstone, the home of British motor racing, provided the perfect backdrop for SCC Engage, the annual event which brings together employees from different departments within SCC to foster collaboration, share our strategic direction, and celebrate the company’s achievements.

The Guinness World Records™ attempt

Excitement was building as colleagues gathered on the historic Silverstone track, with each participant assigned a specific position to ensure the formation of the flag’s distinctive pattern.

Participants were guided by a team of dedicated organisers whose meticulous planning and coordination ensured that everyone was in the right place.

Nerves began to set in as the moment arrived for the official measurement. After thorough examination, it was announced that SCC had successfully set the new Guinness World Records™ title for the Largest Human Image of a Chequered Flag!
