SCC increases their Real living wage rates
SCC, Europe’s largest independent technology solutions business, has strengthened their employer credentials by increasing their Real Living Wage rates. Having committed to becoming a Real Living Wage employer earlier this year, SCC’s UK employees will now earn at least £10.90 per hour – or £11.95 per hour if based in London. Both rates remain significantly higher than the Government minimum for over 23s, which currently stands at £9.50 per hour. The Real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. Due to recent increases in the cost of living, SCC has implemented these rates in advanced of the May 2023 deadline. James Rigby, SCC UK CEO, said: “As a family business, we’re committed to supporting and investing in our people. I am delighted to announce that from 1st October we have implemented the recently updated Real Living Wage rates. By doing so, we want to ensure our people are fairly paid for the excellent contributions they make across our business.”
