SCC raise £1,150 for Molly Olly’s Wishes

SCC’s Public Sector event raised an incredible £1,150 for our charity partner Molly Olly’s Wishes by hosting a raffle for delegates. Molly Olly’s Wishes supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to help with their emotional wellbeing. We grant individual wishes and donate therapeutic toys and books to both children directly and to hospitals throughout the UK. As part of the event SCC ran a raffle with an amazing range of prizes from an Acer laptop to a life-size cardboard cut-out of our very own Head of Public Sector. We saw immense support showing once again our SCC community coming together to support an amazing cause #StrongerTogether. Richard Reader, Head of Public Sector said “I’m absolutely delighted that so many people took part in the Molly Olly’s raffle and we able to raise such a great sum. My sincere thanks to our brilliant vendor partners for the donation of some fabulous prizes!” The Molly Olly’s Wishes charity has been one of SCC’s main charity partners for a number of years and continues to be popular in gaining staff support. SCC work closely with the charity in a number of ways including sponsoring two wishes a month for terminally ill children. We also rely on staff for fundraising such as this events to support the charity with the amazing work they do.
