Big Data Infrastructure Market will Triple by 2019

A recent report by the International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts the market for EMEA Big Data-related data centre infrastructure spending to triple in size over the next three years.

A recent report suggests 16% of all server shipments will be Big Data-related by 2019, up from 6% 2015. Values of these shipments are expected to grow from $1 billion in 2015 to $2.7 billion by 2019. The report predicts 20 exabytes of storage to be shipped for Big Data use by 2019, also generating revenues of $2.7 billion.
