Calls for Government Review to Boost IT Spending

The UK government to release more funding for digital transformation in local authorities in its spending review on 25 November. The Local Government Association says that additional funding support is needed to ‘embed digital transformation across councils and the wider public sector.’  The LGA believes there are opportunities for councils to drive efficiency, improve user experiences and make more services available online.
