Cisco is highlighting the valuable role that technology collaboration technology can play in giving remote schools better access to educational resources and communities, helping to engage students in learning and adapting teaching to meet student needs.

In a blog discussing the subject, the company outlines the way in which live video and collaboration can be used to enable sharing, interaction and multimedia learning. It has also produced a useful infographic, showing how students, teachers and school leaders.

In the blog, Cisco says that schools are generally positive about the outlook for digital collaboration and video technology and there is significant potential to increase the amount and sophistication of use. It also notes that the majority of schools it works with believe that the use of collaboration and video technology is likely to increase over the next two years and that in a recent survey a network of remote schools indicated overwhelmingly that it will have a positive impact on the quality of student learning over the next five years.
