The Gartner Magic Quadrant for Datacentre Backup and Recovery Software is the definitive independent ranking. For the sixth straight year, Commvault has been named a leader.
This year, they were identified as having the most “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute”. This consistency, combined with Commvault’s unrelenting vision and execution, separates them from the pack of legacy players and emerging vendors who don’t have the same long-standing industry credibility.
Gartner claimed that their decision to list Commvault as an industry leader was based on the following achievements:

The Gartner MQ is an important selling tool for partners to leverage, as it’s the “go-to” report for customers and prospects making decisions about investments in backup and recovery software, and has enormous influence on purchase consideration.
