HP Unleashes Elite x2 1012 Two-in-One On Business Market
HP has stepped up the pace in the competitive premium business convertible market space, launching the Elite x2 1012 Windows 10 tablet with a brand new design and enhanced specification that will make it a really strong competitor and generate plenty of new opportunities for resellers.
Although in naming convention, this is successor to the popular x2 1011, the new a 12-inch Elite x2 has a very different look and feel. A sleek aluminium casing and a basic weight of 1.24 Kg, including the travel keyboard, make it very lightweight indeed.
The new Elite x2 1012 comes with a choice of Intel processors, ranging from the Core m3 vPro to the Core m7, 4GB or 8GB of RAM and the 128GB disk or 512GB of solid-state drive. HP’s Active Pen stylus with Wacom technology and the HP Travel Keyboard provide excellent input flexibility and with options for 4G and a sturdier keyboard.
It comes with both a USB Type-A connector, and a Type-C connector with Thunderbolt support. Enterprise-class security is provided by HP’s BIOSphere firmware with SureStart technology, which enables ports to be switched on or off and an earlier version of the BIOS to be restored if necessary.
A modular design with easy-access to the HDD and battery compartments will make it easy to maintain.
