Industry Titans Team Up on Artificial Intelligence

Technology industry giants Amazon, Alphabet (Google), Facebook, IBM and Microsoft have joined forces to form the Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (AI) group, with the intent of sharing information on artificial intelligence and working to address key issues such as privacy and ethics.

The group plans to use a standard open license to publish research with the ultimate aim of driving development of solutions that will be useful initially in the enterprise sector. It also plans to make discussions and minutes from meetings publicly available.
