Intel’s 7th Generation Chips are on their Way

Intel 7th GenerationIntel has started shipping ITS 7th Generation Kaby Lake chips to PC manufacturers and new devices using them can be expected later this year. They will be faster, but not smaller, than Skylake processors. It’s expected that there will be variants from Core i3 up to a 10-core ‘Extreme’ Core i7. Core M models for mobile systems are expected to be the first available. Intel has said that Kaby Lake will support Thunderbolt 3 and the cameras used for the Windows Hello face scanner that can be used instead of a password.
