New Lumia Smartphones Take Windows 10 to the Next Level

The new Lumia Windows 10 smartphones are now available in the UK, presenting resellers with the opportunity to offer a range of platforms running the same consistent environment for the first time.

The new Microsoft Lumia 950 (5.2-inch) and Lumia 950 XL (5.7-inch) models bring the full Windows 10 Continuum experience to the smaller screen size for the first time. Both come with built-in Office featuring Word, Excel and PowerPoint and all the features of Windows 10, so users will get a consistent experience across all devices and can switch between them seamlessly.

Both models are also available with a Microsoft Display Dock, which is sold separately so they can be connected to an external monitor for a PC-like experience and added convenience and productivity.

The launch of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL is a significant one which takes the Windows 10 opportunity into a new dimension. Resellers can now truly offer to meet all the mobility needs of customers and provide the full benefits of Windows 10, coupled with the Continuum experience. Both the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL have 16:9, QuadHD (2560 x 1440 pixels), 564ppi screen with Gorilla Glass 3. They come with 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a 2TB Micro SD card, 4G connectivity a 20MP rear-facing camera with 4K video recording and 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera that also supports full HD video.
