Nvidia Advances Down Road to Driverless Cars

Graphics card maker Nvidia has become the latest hi-tech firm to test driverless vehicles on public roads in California. It has been working with Chinese firm Baidu on a platform for semi-autonomous cars. Nvidia has joined a growing list of firms testing vehicles in the west-coast state that includes Google, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, Ford, and GM. Michigan and some other US states are now reportedly looking at granting test licenses as well.
