Surface Pro 4 Underlines Microsoft’s Hardware Credentials
The launch of Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 hybrid device has further underlined the company’s credentials as a hardware developer and with the number of customer enquiries growing Microsoft has indicated that a further extension of availability may be on the horizon.
The Surface Pro 4 devices are more powerful and also quieter, run cooler, and provide an impressive battery life of up to nine hours. They are available with sixth-generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processor options and 128GB, 256GB and 512 GB storage, and between 4GB and 16GB RAM. It has a 12.3-inch PixelSense touch-screen display and weighs only 1.73lbs (786g). It comes with an improved Surface Pen and Windows 10 Pro.
Microsoft has gradually expanded availability of the Surface models and there are indications that availability may be widened again in the near future.
