Tenfold Increase in Mobile Data Traffic Predicted

Mobile data traffic will surge by a factor of ten between 2015 and 2021, according to findings from equipment maker Ericsson. Video is expected to account for 70% of total mobile traffic in 2021 up from around 50% this year said the firm in it’s six-monthly review of mobile market landscape. The report also predicts that fifth-generation mobile telephony will be commercially available within five years.
