Update to Best-Selling LaserJet Line Opens the Door for Print Upgrades

LaserJet OfficeHP has updated the LaserJet printer range that has been one of its best-sellers for many years, presenting resellers with an opportunity to trigger a wave of upgrade and refresh purchases.

The HP LaserJet Enterprise M506 range of monochrome laser printers has now superseded the popular P3015 line-up, and with stocks of the latter now exhausted, buyers will be compelled to switch to the new M506 series. The old LaserJet P3015 series had been popular because they offered a very simple solution, they were capable of churning out the pages at a high speed and had developed a reputation for reliability, which goes down well in any market, but especially so in the public sector.

There are only a few small differences with the new products, the main one being that the M506 models have a footprint that is around 30% smaller, so they will save space. But the key selling points – fast output of up to 43ppm, reliable operation and affordability and low running costs, are the same.

The new LaserJet Enterprise M506 also comes with almost instant start-up, energy-preserving features and advanced security. This includes added protection for any data stored on the printer itself. They also make use of HP’s JetIntelligence technology to maximise quality and minimise costs.

It is available in ‘dn’ and ‘x’ variants. The former comes with a four-line display with keypad, sheet feeder capacity options of between 650 and 2,300 sheets and optional wireless connectivity. The ‘X’ model has wireless as standard and features and 10.9cm colour touch-screen and sheet-feeder capacities of either 1,200 or 2,300 sheets.
