Veritas Appoints Frederic Fimes as Channel Director for Southern Europe

Veritas Technologies, a leader in data protection and software-defined storage solutions, today announced that Frederic Fimes has been appointed channel director for Southern Europe at Veritas.

In this role, Fimes will be responsible for maximizing value through our channel partnerships and accelerating growth across France, Italy, Iberia and Israel. Based in France, Fimes will work with partners across Southern Europe to drive market differentiation, growth opportunities and customer value. Through Veritas’ offerings, he will work with partners to address customer challenges by delivering simplified and enhanced data protection across virtual, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments, while reducing storage costs and helping to achieve regulatory compliance.

Fimes brings over 35 years of experience in the channel business, gained through various channel leadership roles at HP and Dell/EMC, including managing significant transformations to take advantage of market changes such as big data and cloud computing. Most recently, Fimes served as director of sales at Tech Data Advanced Solutions.
